We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care Nicola has provided for our two older cats. Every time we return from our holidays, it’s clear that they are calm, content, and completely at ease. This is such a reassuring sign that they are not only well cared for but truly comfortable in her presence. It gives us peace of mind knowing they are in such capable hands. Nicola is quick to respond to any messages and takes the time to send updates and keep us informed throughout our time away. This thoughtful communication really helps ease any worries we might have, as we know exactly how our cats are doing.

Kitty Kare's service was very thoughtful and thorough. Dimi was in good spirits on our return, and we could clearly see he had been cared for. Play areas and boxes for hiding had been created and enjoyed around the house. Jane sent photos while we were away, and a handy diary had been left for us so we knew what he had been up to in our absence. No request was any trouble and we felt we could contact Jane at any time.

We have a very anxious rescue cat who we don’t think would cope with a cattery. Previously we have had a family member make a single visit per day and on our return she has been quite stressed and very clingy to me for days after. On our recent holiday, KittyKare sent Heather to visit our little girl and the difference was amazing. Heather spent some time with our cat each day and sent us updates daily. The difference in Haka’s demeanour when we got home was so obvious - she was not stressed at all and, while she was still happy to see us, she did not show her usual excessive clinginess. We’d never considered a cat sitting service before but were so glad to have discovered the superb KittyKare. We have a one year old Siberian Neva and, unlike most cats of this breed, he’s a shy, nervous boy who loves us but is terrified of any visitors we have and can’t deal with change of any kind. We tried him in a cattery but picked him up same day as he just couldn’t cope with the environment. Jenny from KittyKare visited us to meet him and was fantastic - she approached him with exactly the right blend of kindness and patience that he needs and it was clear from our first meeting that we’d be leaving our cat (and our house) with a safe, competent pair of hands. During our holiday, Jenny came twice a day and for the first few visits, he kept his distance (which we expected) but after we’d had a few days away we were sent videos of him purring and playing - we were kept up to date over WhatsApp which was so reassuring. He eventually had a lap fuss with Jenny which is something we really couldn’t imagine him doing - it was such a relief to know he was home and well looked after. We returned home to a happy, stress-free cat in his own home and an honest hand-written diary of how he’d been doing day by day. We are so grateful to have found a service that caters to the needs of the cat (and us as worried owners) as we were so concerned about leaving him. We can now look forward to our next trip away, knowing Neva will be absolutely fine.

After meeting Lesley and Helen for the first time we knew Tigger and Blue would be in good hands. We are most impressed with the running of Kitty Kare and their strict code of practice.We were in contact with them whilst we were away and given updates of how our boys were. Helen came in twice a day to make sure they were fed and watered and curtains opened or closed. She seemed to quickly win them over, and them letting her comb them proves this point. Thank you Helen. Kitty Kare have been great. Sue Horsfall is lovely. She gives all care and I even get a detailed report waiting for me when I get home. This is the second of my cats that she has cared for when I have been away. She gets to know the cat's personality and forms a trust bond, giving them loads of fuss and attention.

I have just returned from holiday and Carole has been feeding my cats over the spell of awful weather. I am so grateful that she is reliable and always looks after my cats so well. I have been using Kitty Kare for over 10 years and would never entrust anyone else with my cats. All of the Kitty Kare team are extremely experienced and knowledgeable in cat care and have often given me invaluable advice. Jenny and Becky have always been brilliant, and even my most anti-social cat will let Jenny stroke her now. When my cats have been unwell, I know they get plenty of extra TLC if I have to leave them, and I get peace of mind by way of text and photo updates. When I am away, it is so reassuring to know my home is being checked, but most of all my cats can go about their normal routine happily. I can't recommend Kitty Kare highly enough. I would be lost without them.

Kitty Kare is a very reliable, friendly, and trustworthy service. They provide wonderful care for my pets, which include not just my cat but my tortoises too. Lesley, Jenny, and the team are really professional and have in-depth documentation for when you go away which really reassures you. I used to have a cat that was really unwell the week of my holiday. Lesley came round to my home herself and supported her colleague in how they were going to care for her, which I thought was excellent. I would recommend this service to everyone.

We could not be more happy with the service Kitty Kare provides. We think Sue Horsfall is marvelous. She not only looks after them all with great care, she also takes in the post, waters our plants and is willing to do any other task if we require it. Kitty Kare is fantastic and a much better alternative to a cattery. Sue Horsfall is amazing and all the cats love her, especially Frankie. We go away with complete peace of mind knowing that our cats are getting the best attention and receiving excellent care. As well as feeding and playing with the cats, Sue also keeps an eye on the house for us, waters the plants, puts the bins out, and takes in the post. I must also mention Carole who does an equally great job when Sue is unable to visit. Kitty Kare are reliable and professional, and we always come home to happy contented cats.

We are very pleased with Kitty Kare, in particular with how good Jenny has been with Peter, who can be a nervous cat, especially around people he does not know. Sue Horsfall cares for my kitties. I know they look forward to seeing her as she's the cat whisperer!! They know the sound of her car and footsteps on the drive! She always has a story to tell them and food to fill their rumbling tums. I never worry when I'm away as I know they are being well looked after. I ask her for advice sometimes if one of the cats is ill; she is very sensible and caring. We have used Kitty Kare for a number of years now, and the service is consistently brilliant. Jenny is always incredibly attentive to Smithers' needs even when he's in one of his regular moods, to such an extent that he now gets the hump whenever anybody else checks on him! Jenny our sitter is a lovely, caring and trustworthy lady who went out of her way to ensure that our cat’s were well looked after and their litter, food trays and surrounds were kept clean and attended to. Linford is a vintage feline age 19 he has never been cared for by anyone other than family. I was very anxious in leaving him in a stranger's care. However, on meeting Carole from Kitty Kare, I knew she was just the person to care for our much-loved feline. I was very nervous about using a pet sitting service for the first time to look after our 3 beloved kitties, but I have been completely won over by the professionalism and friendliness of KittyKare. Helen has been marvellous in her care of the cats (as well as the garden and fish). The photos she sent us of 3 happy cats baring their fat tummies, and the very smart and groomed (usually scruffy) old boy we found on our return were most reassuring. The service offered by Kitty Kare is fantastic. It's always a worry leaving my cats 'home alone,' especially as one is very very nervous of humans. However, knowing that Sue (and occasionally Carole) will be looking after them means that I do not have to worry at all and that they are being well looked after and cuddled in my absence. It's so lovely to have the report when I get home too, especially seeing how my nervous Jackie has now started to trust Sue.
